Swatantra Senani Mansaram Raut :

Swatantra Senani Mansaram Raut whose full name is Mansaram Bhiva Raut was born at Pauni , Dist . Bhandara , Maharashtra . He had one brother whose name was Zolaba and one sister who was married to Mesharam family in same ward Shurawari were they stayed . Zolaba Raut had two sons Vithal and Vivek from first wife and four sons and a daughter form another wife namely Nandram , Vairag , Khudiram and Nirdhan and a daughter Vishranta . Vivek Raut was Asst Income Tax Commissioner and he got two sons and two daughters three among them are doctors .Zolaba's other sons are also well educated and well settled .

Mansaram Raut was a very fair , and handsome person i youth having curly hairs , straight nose , well built , middle height . He married married in early age and had two sons namely Vikas and Avanath and two daughters Janata and Kranta . Janata and Kranta were married in Nagpur families namely Ganveer and Bhasgauri . His one son in law was in government service and other as teacher . Mansaram Raut was callling both his son in laws as Babuji with respect and love . .

Mansaram Raut was educated up to 3 rd standard in Pauni Nagarpalika School but was sharp and had inclination towards social service and political activities . He had very good friendship with his same age young boys namely Ganpatrao Khaparde , Sitaram Bhambore , Doma Lahu Raut , Ganpatrao Vevhare and Chaganlal Maganlal Gujarati Gonnade , Raipurkar . They all were charged with with Gandhiji's Movement of Freedom , Khadi and End of Asprushyata . Where as Mansaram Raut , Doma Lahu Raut were close relatives and Mansaram was Doma's uncle there was not much difference in their age and even Doma was elder to him by one year so also Ganpatrao khaparde was relative of Doma Raut as Ganpatrao was son of Doma's Father's sister that is aunt . Mansaram Raut , Doma Raut , Ganpat Khaparde , Sitarm Bhambore were from Mahar community , Raipurkar from Barai community , Gonnade was from Kosti community , Chaganlal from Vishy community and Vevhare from Saraswat community . They all were pucca friends from childhood and in youth they have chosen the trade , occupation for their lively hood as follows . Mansram Raut was tailor , Sitaram Bhambore was tailor , Ganpat Khaparde was Rice trader and Doma Raut was Pahelwan and was Rice trader and Ganpat Kahaparde and Doma Raut were business partners . Gonnade had his Sari and cloth store , Raipurkar had a farm of Betel leaves and shop in local market , Chaganlala and Vevhare had Grocery shops . They all were being folowers of Gandhiji , members of Congress .

They all were taking part in Congress activities and all movements for independence due to this their economical condition was bad as often they were leaving their jobs for national movements . One day when there was andolan against Videshi British , they participated in procession and were arrested , some of them were freed immediately but Mansraram Raut , Sitarm Bhambhore were retained in jail for long . They suffered as Freedom Fighters ignoring their families and gave their time and lives from Nation . After Independence , Mansraram Raut and Sitaram Bhambhore were recognized as Freedom Fighters .

After independence , all these friends went back to their trade and occupations for livelihood.

Mansaram Raut then joined Bharat Sevak Samaj . Meanwhile , Doma Raut 's Pandurang who was in Metric at that time around in 1953-54 joined Mansaram Raut in his social activities . There was a unaided hostel started by Shurawari Mahar Samaj for Mahar and other Untouchables and backward students which was about to be closed due to shortage of funds and foods was resolved to hand over to Bharat Sewak Samaj where in both Mansaram Raut and Pandurang Raut would be committee members and office bearers . Mansaram Raut and Pandurang Raut took over that boys hostel which had name as Siddharth Hostel , taken to some Wada of Buti of Nagpur and managed the hostel well as Rector and Secretary . It was felt that Mansaram Raut will be Rector and Pandurang Raut will be Secretary . This went well and as Pandurang Raut maintained all records well bringing them uptodate soon social welfare department visited it and recognized it and started small grant in aid and some portion of salary to hostel staff .

Meanwhile Pandurang Raut completed his Marticulation and went for BA in Morris College , Nagpur where he did his first year and faile in second year some papers . He came back for preparation in Diwali Exam . At the same time Municipal Council of Pauni announced some middle school teacher's vacancies . Mansaram Raut advised Pandurang Raut to apply for that . He was selected and joined Teacher's job in Municipal School which was the only high school in Pauni and around areas . But the financial condition of Municipal Council was so bad that they were unable to pay regular salary to school teachers and other employees . Pandurang Raut since could do job at two places , he was working as secretary at hostel as honorary for long . He them competed his graduation as external and B.Ed also from Govt B.Ed college , Bhandara . Pandurang Raut who was married to Shanta Khaparde of Armori was hard working youth , sincere and had no bad habits . In his service at Municipal school he was close and intimate freind with Banait Guruji ,, Zode Guruji , Talmale Grurji , Lahan Khaparde Guruji as he was known as their were two Khaparde Guruji in same school .

Meanwhile , Siddharth Hostel was becoming famous wit lot of land , ll maintained garden , multi story Buti wada in heart of town near Municipal school and Market with high discipline and capacity of 125 students when rolled out found everywhere at some good and top positions in govt jobs and other sectors .

Some differences made Mansaram Raut and Panduran Raut Guruji depart . Where as Siddharth hostel was then managed by Mansaram's eldest son Vikar Raut as the younger son joined state government job in Pauni Tehsil and retired as Tehsildar , Pauni , Vikas Raut further developed his father Mansaram Raut , Swatnatra Senani who was also given award by Sated Government as Dalit Mitra . Vikas Raut opened some more hostels both for Male and female , schools and college also in Pauni and near by towns , villages . Vikas Raut had one son and three daughters and his brother Aanath had one son and one daughter both engineers

One day Mansaram Raut and Ganpatrao Khaparde went for strolling in the evening near Ram Mandir at Bal Samudra Talav . They sat at the well near to that temple at the bank of Bal Samudra which is very near to Shukrawari Ward and opposite to Pauni fort , While talking Ganpatrao Khaparde took a small stick and was scratching the earth and just for fun removed loose earth , they got astonished there below was some engraved stone , big stone , the removed some more earth and they found Boa Tree and some writing on that . They came back with Kudal , Fawada and removed more earth .They found there were Buddhist Religion remains . They formed local committee, informed government , Nagpur university , Bhadant Aanand Kaushalyaan and Archaeological Survey of India . After some time excavation was made around Ram Temple hillock and a Buddha Kalin Stupa larger than Sanchi was discovered . In Pauni some more cites were excavated and found learning centers . Pauni has become Buddhist Tourist place . The committee acquired some land near that spot , more excavation stoped as there is Ram Temple above the top of Buddha Stupa . Land was donated to Bhadant Aanand Kaushlayan . Now Mansaram Raut's three sons namely Vikas , Avanath , Sangharsh are totally dedicated to the work of development of that site where stupa , resident for Buddhist Bikhus will be built and a large statue of Buddha facing Pauni fort is being planned . In due course it will be more developed .

Pandurang Raut Guruji then started Nalanda Boys Hostel registering a trust namely Nalanda Education Society , Pauni as himself Secretary , Godichore alias Mayur Guruji as President and Lahan Kahparde as Treasure and Ganpat Raut , Shanta alias Pusha Padurag Raut and Amrut Meshram as Members in Somwari Peth , Pauni . That hostel , society also prospered and Mayur Guruji's son developed it further starting a few new hostels . Raut Guruji also helped Rashtra Sant Maharaj Asharm , Mozari sanchalit girls hostel in all matters where Chavan was the President and Goverdhan was secretary . Pandurang Raut Guruji was the second son of Dama Lahu Raut , Ganpat Raut eldest son had walked to Delhi from Pauni with Nanadram Raut , Nefew of Mansaram Raut , Vaman Bhambhore son of Sitaram Bhambhore to meet Pandit Nehru on first Independence day of India . Sitarm Bhambhore was given ticket of MLA and become first elected MLA from Adyal - Pauni constituency . Gandhi statue was erected by Sitaram Bhambhore ar Gandhi chowk , Pauni . His son Vaman aslo started some hostel and some co-operative garment , furniture manufacuring unit , tailoring classes etc . He was tailor by profession and stayed in Shukrawari Ward .

Pandurang Raut , Guruji , had one son namely Satish Pandurang Raut , one daughter Pratibha married to C.Rly TTE , staying at Nagpur . Satish Raut died recently living behind him his wife , Mother , one son and one daughter . Pandurang Raut 's other brothers namely Ganpat Raut , Shrikant Raut , Dewaji Raut , Babaji Raut , Daulat Raut alias Nativist Daultrao Dmaji Raut worked for some time in various jobs and founded Native People's Party , backed by Native Rule Movement , Mul Bhartiya Vichar Manch and Satya Hindu Dharm Sabha . NPP a registered party with ECI Delhi has own seat of MLA in1999 general elections in Maharashtra .

Mansaram Raut aslo maried to one widow who had two sons and two daughters . After second marriage Mansram Raut got one son and two daughters from second wife . Sangharsh Raut is the name of his son who is from second wife . Vikas Raut is taking care of his brother Sangarsh well who is married and have two children and stays at Pauni in a separate house . All three brothers are live independently in their good houses having nice relations .
